Given that all Yordles are, more or less, Lulu now. Fae things that inhabit an Otherworld-like realm and pop out now and again to desperately confuse some people into believing that they're short crazy old people.
It leaves me to wonder what'll be done with Lulu. What ideal would she be focused on? Is she basically just going to be as she has always been, except cranked up to eleven to distinguish her from her peers?

Lulu chose to embody the ideals and culture of the Fae, who're so radically different to humans it's not even funny.
I feel that's the angle they'll pursue with Lulu, but that's just me.

Indeed. Illaoi refers to the Yordles themselves as spirits. Makes me think that 'spirit' is a catch-all term for the dubiously physical beings that dwell in the League universe's Otherworld. Having a poorly defined physical appearance seems to be a pretty common trait. Or at least it applies well enough to Tahm and the Yordles. The Yordles, however, have a true form under the appearances.
Or, I wonder, maybe they don't?
Maybe the squirrel people is just how we see them and is no more true than what those bandits harassing Trist observed?
Though the thing that makes me suspect that isn't the case is Poppy 'revealing herself' to her hammer-pal. She allowed him to see her for what she really is. And that is, apparently, an act that requires a great deal of focused intent on the part of the Yordle. Makes me wonder why. Why can't humans see them for what they are? I wonder if the same forces are at work that prevent some people from seeing what's really at the top of Mount Targon.
I think we can safely conclude that Yordles are weird and we really need a Bandle City lore event.

That's more akin to D&D elves, which doesn't really fit, since D&D elves still live in physical reality.
From the little bit of information we've got so far, Yordles are probably most similar to Aes Shee (people of the mounds). They're magical, effectively immortal, and they dwell in a realm contemporaneous with physical reality. However, they're still largely comprehensible. They do and are motivated by things that humans can grasp.
Pix would be like some of the more esoteric critters that are buzzing around in folklore, things that are totally other.
Or at least that's what I'm assuming is likely the case. Until we get an update on Bandle City/the Glade then this is all just speculation. But what's this board for aside from speculation (and complaining about Victor's lore)?
