I don't know about the nexus, but the Illaoi mains have voted for a different skin...

It's been posted on reddit, where (probably) Illaoi mains gather (including me). I'm sure not everyone is on reddit, but still the % vote on the nexus doesn't look very... real. I'm still happy for Battlecast (or for any other skin Illaoi would have) and i bealive you guys will do a great job! (i'll surely come here again to tell you my feedback)

Ps: My point is that the riot data shows that Illaoi mains voted for the Battlecast skin. I know many votes might change things, but the reddit one is not nearly as close to the riot one (who knows what riot did xD) With the discussion that broke up on the boards, they might have chosen the skin themselves (i'm clearly not serious, i'm just supposing stuff)

Total Illaoi players: Way way WAY more than that, across multiple servers, countries and languages

Everyone in the community was able to vote for the skin, not just Illaoi mains. So even if all Illaoi mains voted for example for Adventurer Illaoi, we could have still got Battlecast Illaoi since there are probably more people not playing her at all. ^^

EDIT: According to Riot's data, which is most likely more accurate then this Reddit poll, the majority of Illaoi players/mains voted for Battlecast as well.

I consider myself an Illaoi player, but I don't browse or post in the subreddit at all. I'm happy Battlecast won.

You know that those who are ok with Battlecast being the next skin have no reason to vote on that poll(while the others want to voice their disappointment with the result and hope to change it),so it makes sense that battlecast has far less votes there than it has on the official poll.

this sucks so much WHY NOT ALL 3 BLITZ GOT 2 AND HE HAS TONS. not only its not the best ( adventurer jut look at the tentacles and the story potential ) BUT THE WORST ONE WIN, I LIKE THE BASE ONE MORE THAN THAT SKIN I LIKE WOULD BUY IT ONLY IF IT WAS -1350 RP. i think its really unfair that half community who are probably edgelords and play only yasuo kayn zed and teemo vote for something they will never play and obviously they have to choose another EDGELORD skin like UGH I HATE THIS.
