Kindred has SO MUCH personality!
Very good job by the voice acotr. YOu can really feel the duality /struggle/malevolance of this champion.

Lamb: "Im hungry, Im Hungry, Im Bored, Chase, Chase, Chase" Wolf: "You get it now!"

Lamb: "Im hungry, Im Hungry, Im Bored, Chase, Chase, Chase" Wolf: "You get it now!"
haha that was cool
that's an actual line of theirs. in the one before it's wolf that is mocking lamb. she on the other hand isn't amused.
there's also another line where she tries to recite a famous piece of poety, grumbles, and then says, "what were the words to that poem?

Silly Wolf.
My favorite though:
Wolf: What happens if you miss? Lamb: I don't know.
As she prepares to shoot an apple off his head.
no really put that apple on your head

I still have no idea what's going on here. It seems there's a joke here, but I for the life of me can't see it. Mind sharing?

Basically is the Lamb trying to act like the Wolf and the wolf say You get it now in response. Then there is another joke where the role are swapped Wolf try to be Lamb
They did an amazing job on her aesthetically. The duality is really cool too, love how lamb wears the wolf mask and vice versa. Also the mask colors with their fluid bodies gives a good yin yang to it.
I am sad about one thing. Poor karma, they took the duality from her abilities and now she no longer even has her own theme.
On the bright side, Warden Karma looks really good.
I came here to state the exact same thing. The feelings I'm having about this new champion are somewhat like the relationship a father would have with his child after the childbirth killed the mother; he's glad and grateful for the child's existence but deep down will always have a sliver of resentment for having killed the mother, even if he knows it wasn't the child's fault.
I know it was Riot that destroyed Karma's soul, but I can't help but feel a little contempt towards Kindred for trying to fill that void. I guess another comparison would be like a child's parents buying a new pet to replace one that died, as if that will somehow make it better. You can't replace her!

Maybe not resentment, but definitely sadness. Bittersweet.

YES, I FEEL IT
"Who's next?" "EVERYONE" Damn Lamb you savage
Why do I have the feeling that the Lamb is the truly malevolence of the two and the wolf is just instinctual and being used by the Lamb
I think that's a large part of the intended effect. It's implied that, originally, Kindred were Death. So I guess when Death split himself in half, Lamb became malevolent calculating murder, and the Wolf became primal destruction.
Its important to understand that death is simply death. Death is neither good nor evil. It simply is. I think lamb and wolf represent the 2 types of ways people can die. Either a violent death or a more calm death ( natural causes).

It is.
Question, the Kindred have switched masks for each other. Wolf mask on Lamn and vice versa. If they were to have their respective masks on, what would happen?
If Wolf had his mask on, would he have no sense of reason, no sense of patience, only the need to kill? And if Lamb had her mask on, would she no longer have any desire to hunt, kill, etc?
I think this is an awesome question for some mulling over. I have my own suspicions about what would occur, but that is very much in line with my thoughts on death.
Tell me more about your guess.
Well, their masks wouldn't fit on eachother and then they'd be sad.
I believe they would be much less in harmony. There is a small part that connects the two, as different as they are. Even in the beauty in how two such different personalities can fit together in harmony, if they was so radically different they couldn't even fathom and understand each other at any level, their partnership might be in risk.
Partially their harmony and understanding of each other is represented by the masks as well. They have a part of the other in them, as they are one, it's one of the things that connects them.¨
Changing masks so they have only their own mask would represent them not understanding each other at all. They would have nothing in common at all, complete polar opposites. Right now they are just two radically different personalities, but they work as one.
I don't think I've seen anything that... beautiful in a game. Reminds me of my grandma and grandpa and seeing them together.
Here's another thing to get you thinking. What exactly do you think is underneath each mask?
fix'd
thanx'd
:)
Are they secretly a stack of poros?
OH! Question about Kindred. Is their mark derived from Averdrian's forehead symbol?

Not that I'm aware of.
Nothing, The masks are their actual faces.
Smells like we have similar ideas.
Hehe, I felt the creepyness in that.
To boost up the duality of Kindred they themselves had to be incomplete and bringing something of the other to keep the link.
I think its a sort of Diablo Tyreal thing going on, where tyreal is the wings and the rest of the body is just so mortal creatures have something interact with. Lamb and wolf ARE the masks!
Your head goes to places I like.
A USB connector. They are wearing USB-masks.
Jokes aside, I think asking under mask is like asking what is "underneath face". They are clearly not human, the masks are part of them. It's not something that can just be removed, it's part of their physical being.

i dont precisly know,,,, and with Riot times on these thing we may never know :P But i i mean... wolf is a wolf even without a mask i guess, unless something really strange happens if they take them out.
I still have to understand what they even are anyway.
Still awsome.
I especially like lamb's VO. So calming.
Lamb: We understand your loniness bu
wolf: STAY AWAY!
:(
wolf: CHASE THE CAT

heh.
I think "CHASE THE CAT" is Rengar.
probably both
Wolf: Words words, la la la, pew pang pew. Lamb: Are you imitating me? Best one.
(Taunting
)
Lamb: "Sometimes, death is a blessing."
Am i the only one concerned with Kindred getting pissed off when someone else kills their target?
Why would they? I mean as long as they are involved in the kill they will get the bonus
I'm not sure why they would. When i was listening to the VO, they had quite a few quotes related to kill stealing.
It's actually for enemies stealing marked jungle camps :D
That's for when an enemy takes the marked camp.
