Why Maokai?

I haven't even seen anyone play him in 3 months and he is one of the least deserving champions in the Pro-scene to get a Victorious skin.

He's not anything exciting to play either so this makes even less sense.

Yea riot clearly cares so much for the 3 v 3 map... come on.. league is all about the 5 v 5 thats where we all try to climb in order to get a victorious skin. Twisted treeline is a complete nonsense excuse from riot if this is correct

You didn't read my comment did you? Victorious skins are ones that are powerful throughout the Season not 2 - 3 months.

Skins take time to make, and as such they typically start them around spring split. That's why we had Victorious Sivir last season, even though she was also mainly a spring split powerhouse

If you translate it (the page the image is from, I mean), it crudely mentions "tree" and I think "Maokai". I really thought that was Lamb's mask and got super hyped... =(

This should have been Viktor's day, yet Maokai showed up in the pro scene for like 5 minutes and took his skin. This is terrible. My reaction is just, who the fuck cares about Maokai?
