They changed all the yorlde splashes to have a consistent 4 fingers instead of 5, which were seen in some splashes and game models. Pretty sure Amumu always had 4 fingers in his splashes. Do we finally get the confirmation that he's a yordle? (If this debate has already been answered by a rioter/lore on the universe page, please tell. I would like to know)
No; while all yordles (bar potential biological problems as can happen with humans) have three fingers and a thumb per hand, there's nothing that indicates that Amumu's only ever had three fingers per hand. Ivern and Renekton are examples of once humans who've changed and now have three fingers per hand, and even then Amumu might've been a human child born with three fingers and one thumb per hand. That can happen.
Some believed he had the hands of a child, some, the hands of a small creature, soft and pawed. But what remains common in all of his stories... was the cold of his desperate grasp.
