Vastaya - Who classifies? @Rioters?

We've just seen the unveiled Champion teaser for The Vastaya (The phoenix/harpy duo), and now my friends and I are digging into the lore and have come to an impasse as far as who falls under the category of Vastaya.

Elise - My understanding is she made a dark pact with the Spider God Vilemaw to receive her gift, and so she isn't considered a Vastaya because it's not Ionian descent? Nidalee - do we even know anything about her anymore?? Ahri - Has she been reworked into a Vastaya? Her mention in the story makes it appear so.

Just thinking. :)

Well I can say without a shadow of a doubt Elise ain't a vastaya.

Elise isn't but Ahri almost definitely is.

I see Rengar(Or a cat man that looks just like him) on the cover of the league client in the Vastaya article. So Rengar too.

Ahri Alistar Fizz Nami Nidalee Rammus Rengar Soraka Volibear Warwick MonkeyKing

Rammus is a weird one since his bio doesn't clarify if he's an ascended or not, he could be a vestaya. Fizz is a big question too especially since Riot made a big deal in the old lore that he wasn't a Yordle. Twitch is kind of a question since we don't know his true origins either but he could just be the result of experiments on rats.
