So what is up with Viktor's mask?

https://i.imgur.com/o2AAFGD.png So, on the left we can see Viktor's mask as it is on his icon, his splash in champion collection, etc. Basicly everywhere, but ever since they introduced the new champ select screen, there we can see the mask as it is on the right. Wierdly slanted forward and just... off. It's like... nothing big. But just why? It's less detailed and kinda looks like someone punched Viktor in the middle of his face and the mask just bent... Considering that Viktor is receiving some changes right now, maybe the picture during champion selection phase could be tweaked a little as well?
