You know creating a threads of basically the same topic over and over again is spamming. Yeah,you give them different titles,but in the end they are all about the same message. We know that you don't like the retcon and the new lore direction,but its no use making threads over that again and again.

Both sides of this debacle (pro-retcon and anti-retcon) need to come together and form a unified front. because right now, we're just in a pissing contest with the only agreeable fact being Riot sucks at keeping in touch and keeping promises.

what we need is to get together and discuss, and make a SINGLE thread where we can, as a community, explain and discuss problems with the retcon, with how the retcon is being halndled, etc.

Because with Impetual spamming threads, pro-retcon and anti-retcon at each other and half this board not even in discussions anymore, you really don't need to wonder why.

Teamwork does win matches.

Think it's time we did that.

But to kick it off, we need a lot of people together in either a client chat or Skype or some other medium. Which in itself would be a huge fucking miracle.

Okay, lesson time!

"Lol, way to over dramtacially refuse to properly respond to a post" Say that aloud. Go on. Yeah, it's a travesty to the english language.

Excusing the text talk, let's break this down into two parts - "way to over dramatically" and "refuse to properly respond."

Now. The first is easy. "Way too over dramatic is how you write that part of your sentence. See? "Lol, way to over dramatic" is the correct way to phrase that. Dramatically is a funny word, I can't really say how to use that right, but dramatic? That's easy. You're referencing my post, so you need a more past tense word. That's dramatic.

Now, the words to, two, and too are really annoying. All are said the same exact way, but differ in spelling and meaning. "To" is used like "From Demacia to Noxus" or "Kayle went to kiss Ahri." Two is obviously the number, but too? With two Os? That's essentially another way to say also. So, you just needed to add an extra O to that word. No biggie, to/too/two are pretty annoying, everyone has problems at first.

Second part!

"refuse to properly respond."

Now, coupled with the first part man, this is really unnecessary. But you wrote it, so gotta go the extra mile. First, after "dramatic" we'll insert the semi colon - ; <---- this funny little mark that most people don't use. It's essentially a way to say and with punctuation, and can help with flow more then the word "and" itself. So, "Lol, way to over dramatic;" is how we're leaving the first part.

To get the rest of this to actually work, we literally have two things; you put in the word "you" and change "a post" to "my post" so the sentence reads "you refuse to properly respond to my post." That way, it's got al it's posessisve and accurately references and tells me you are infact talking to me (like I need to know, but hey, English is a funny language) and the "my post" makes it clear you're refering to your own post, and not me being a sarcastic 4 AM asshole to say, Tesla down there.

Now, let's put it together!

"Lol, way too over dramatic; you refuse to properly respond to my post."

Of course, we could just remove the textalk and put something else, like "Dude" or "Seriously?" or hell, just go with it and put "Hahaha" which does the same. Or "Hahaha dude. Seriously, way too overdramatic; you refuse to properly respond to my post."

Your Opening Post. It's one line. You're using the title to ask the question, which isn't a bad thing with how Narrative works. But you see, it's a single line. If you catch their attention, you have to keep it. If you want to get through to them, you have to go through and explain. You have to expand and talk. If you don't reason and expand, you're just throwing questions without substance, threads with little more then you going "Hey Listen!" at Narrative two-three times a day, and dude?

CupcakeTrap doesn't make 2-3 threads a day, 6 a week, and drive a diehard Old Lore Fan and a New Lore Fan into saying "We disagree on many things, but how you act and spam is something we agree really sucks."

It IS IMPORTANT. I have been vocal and have been pissed at Riot since Shurima, but spamming threads EVERY HOUR is pissing everyone off. If you want to be vocal, you want to ask the hard questions and want to hold their asses accountable for the lore that's in shambles, then hunt rhe down in threads they post in and harass them THERE.

So you know rhe disappointment I feel when I see another thread of yours? I'm thinking "oh a long well written thread!" Then I see it's by you and it's four sentences, if that.

Feedback is important. But mindless spam with no substance gives us Lore Fans who despise the retcon a bad name.

The identity of the thread maker shouldn't matter.

A thread should stand or fall on It's own based off its own merit. If it's a well made point, then it's a well made point.

You shouldn't dismiss good criticism based on who is posting it, but you should focus on the quality and correctness of that criticism.

Evaluate the idea, not the person posting it!

If I see Riot making decisions that I think is dumb, I'm going to make posts in order to give them feedback on those choices.

I'm trying to help them, despite their apparent commitment to retconning their lore to be more bland, in my opinion.

This is an open forum. I'm gonna make my opinion heard whenever I feel like it. That's what a forum is supposed to be!

BTW, I felt I needed to point out that this thread by "Legacy of Xion" doesn't really say anything. Seriously, read it...it has no substance beyond "I don't agree with this guy...for...reasons"... It doesn't even criticize my threads in a meaningful way.

There is nothing constructive about it, and its purpose seems to be to derail any kind of constructive discussion that we could have about the deficiencies of Riot's current lore delivery strategies.
