Incongruities Regarding Ekko's history with Vi.

So from the Q&A regarding Ekko, there's a few answers regarding a past, albeit loose, connection between Ekko and Vi. This quote for example:

5) Ekko knew Vi when they were both younger before she left for Piltover. He's got mixed feelings about her now. On one hand he knows who she was and what she could be and that she's a good person, but on the other hand she sold out and is working for the Pilties now.

Ekko also has a taunting line accusing Vi of being a sellout for leaving Zuan in favor of Piltover.

"You'll always be Zaun to me." "You forgot your roots, Vi."

Are two examples.

However, from Vi's current lore...

As a child growing up in the lawless outskirts of Piltover, Vi learned to rob and cheat to get by. Stealing and stripping hextech hardware gave her the skills of a master mechanic, while life on the streets taught her self-reliance. When she was six, a ragtag group of criminals took a shine to the young delinquent and brought her into their fold. By the time Vi was eleven, she had become a seasoned accomplice, and she relished the thrill of every heist.

So she's in Piltover at the age of six. She's also significantly older than Ekko. So how is there any possibility for a past connection and how is Ekko under the impression Vi is from Piltover since her entire known history has her residing in Piltover? Also, doesn't Ekko knowing / knowing of both Vi and Jinx kind of ruin the potential ambiguity of Vi and Jinx's mysterious past relationship?

If there's been some kind of slip up, then I'd like to draw attention to it. If there's going to be a retcon of Vi's current lore, then I would deeply appreciate some assurance it will be handled, handled well, and handled soon because I've sat silent but uneasy for quite a while as all these lore changes have gone through. I do not want to see the background of one of my favorite champions stuck in the same quagmire.

The age difference could be chocked up to Ekko's constant time travel

Zaun is right next to Piltover. Originally they were the same city before they split because of philosophical differences, I think. So, it could be accurately described as "the lawless outskirts of Piltover."

Huge fan of lore. But at this moment there is no point to paying attention to it. To say it has been done haphazardly is an understatement.

...you're expecting anything to make sense with a lore team that says everything has to be a surprise and continues following in the glorious Kitae's footsteps, and who continue following the road map of the Great Retcon?

You know, if Ekko's around 17 and Vi is, say, 21, then as he would have been 7-8 when she became 11 and a "seasoned accomplice."

Which is around the right age where, even if she WASN'T the greatest, a kid could still think she was "the coolest person on runterra!"

Keep in mind that Ekko also claims to have had a crush on Jinx. If he did have a crush on young Jinx it's easier to comprehend how a young Ekko would look up to and remember a badass 11-13 year old Vi. Any timeline on when she got her gauntlets? Those would easily be memorable to a kid.

yeah I noticed that too. It was said that Ekko is around 16/17 and I'd guess that Vi is ~20,so I guess Ekko was ~3 years old when VI left,maybe 4. I guess something really traumatic might have happened during that time(probably related to Vis amnesia),which could be a reason why he is still able to remember vi despite the amount of years that already passed.

Another possibility is that the whole Jinx&VI being sisters thing is true(which is quite likely now and I think Ekko doesn't ruin it,he finally gives us more hints,which was really necessary after such a long time) and that Jinx never forgot her older sister and its because of her that Ekko didn't forget vi.

I think it's safe to say the the general location of places has been moved around in the retcon. This is evident when looking at the map from "First light after the Harrowing" which shows the shadow isles being closest to Bilgewater when previously they were shown to be one the exact opposite sides of the map.

Zaun and Piltover might be even closer together now.

I think Zaun is actually in piltover. Like a dumps area.

Anyway, I once saw a thing about this, and they thought about it. A whole crap load of history between Ekko, Vi, Caitlyn, and Jinx, in a group that is made of rankings with roman numerals. They thought maybe Caitlyn was the leader, seeing as her name started with C and I heard something about it, and that would be 100. Anyway, Ekko's sword apparently has some kind of Roman numeral on it, like XI or something, I couldn't find it, and Vi in itself is a Roman numeral, plus Jinx's codename during her release was "X" and the last digit in her name is X, signalling that Vi is #6, Caitlyn is #100, Jinx is #10, and Ekko is like #11 or whatever.
