Could the Galio we have now be the equivelent of Captain Gangplank

(Oops I forgot a question mark in the title. Oh well.)

So, many people have ben complaining about how this version of Galio doesen't seem much like the old version of Galio, saying that he is an arrogant muscle-head.

But as I was reading a thread earlier today about a possible invasion of Demacia, I saw somobody suggest that this Galio is pretty much the pre-tragedy version of old Galio, and I think it makes sense.

The concept is pretty similar: Galio is assigned to protect a village, although now it is all of Demacia. Now, with a lore event just around the corner, it is very possible that something significant could be happening in Demacia.

So this is what could happen. Demacia is under siege by Noxus, led by Sion, who is demolishing most of the Demacian army. Noxus, being low on magic itself, doesent bring enough to awaken Galio, preventing Demacias biggest threat from waking up. That is, until Lux joins the battle. Being a prodigy, her magic is strong enough to awaken Galio, something that has not been done by a Demacian before. Despite this, Galio still fails somehow, possibly due to arrogance, and King Jarvan III dies.

This segways into Galio getting rebuilt, although poorly, into his more traditional blue and gold form, a shadow of his former self, parallel to Sion in some way. This also matures him, making himnless arrogant and more sullen, seeking pennance for his mistake.

If I recall, the Captain Gangplank skin went as far as going on live servers as his base skin. Of course, they would have to change Galio's vfx, something they didint do for Gangplank, but it would still be a pretty minor change.

Maybe this is just wishful thinking, but I really liked what they did with Gangplank, and I think it would be cool if they did it again.
