Vastayas are a new humanoid specie introduced in LoL's lore, which are mixes between an animal(s) and a human. The next upcoming champ are (it's a double champ apparently) vastayas.
In the end of the journal, Ahri is mentioned but it is not determined if she is a Vastaya or not. Since Rengar and Wukong are both some sort of humanoid animals, are they Vastayas as well?

She never was refered to as a Kumiho, she never had a desegnated race. Kumiho is something people put because they didnt knew any better term and it was closest to what she was inspired from.

Yep, they're all (likely with wukong, not sure) vestaya. I personally like this, gives more depth to teh world and shows some of the effects of teh Rune Wars.
