Riot, thank you for Varus' new lore

i know many many people are upset about Varus' new lore. they have the right to be, as you did change their champions lore drastically. when i saw that video, i felt so many things. first, a gay couple? a canon gay couple? not ezreal/taric memes? it felt so nice to actually see a normal loving couple and feel represented. i know that people are upset about him not having a (wife? son?) anymore and its understandable that this has many people divided. but for me I'm very appreciative that you cared enough to represent us. Thank you

Then why didn't they make this a new champion instead of erasing the lore of an existing one? There were plenty of other champions that have opportunities to be gay/bi/lesbian/etc. without contradicting or erasing their lore that specifically stated that they have a wife and child. Like Ezreal/Taric for example. Vi/Caitlyn. Plenty of options. I saw someone earlier use Ryze as an example. His lore doesn't say anything about a family or his sexuality so there's an option. Literally so many options that don't already have a wife and child.
