Is Xerath Ultimate ever getting a visual update or a remake to look better ?
I still can't enjoy playing xerath completely due to this awful ultimate.

I kind of like how casual it is, you're exploding somebodies face a hundred miles away and instead of using the giant laser beams you have you just throw little energy pancakes at them.
I think they should change it to little energy pillars that slam into the ground, maybe with some lightning.

Not just the visual effect, but the sound as well. Playing Xerath goes something like this:
zzzzzzzzZAP!! KRAKATHOOM!
"FEAR MY UNLIMITED POWER!!!"

literallt just change it back to old xerath ult. If that is not possible then instead of having Xerath launch small balls make that dude SUMMON SMALL METEORS FROM THE SKY (like sephiroth kinda ). But yes his Ult DEF needs a VFX update.
It does look kind of lame. Even his W and Q look better.
With what they look like right now, he might as well bend over and fire them out of his asshole. At least I could get a chuckle from that.

I agree, Xerath's skills felt a lot more powerful before his rework particular his ult. His gameplay in general was a little more interesting too with his old W. I hear an immobile mage update is coming next so maybe they'll work on it then?
Really! They've said a lot fo times that they are going to update it and that the current one was just a visual concept they had for a previous iteration of the "new ultimate" when he got reworked.
Well it has passed a lot of freaking time now and I'm tired of throwing soap bubbles.
His ult sounds so awesome... but it just goes plop

i mean in a comparison to ryze who has mastered his magical abilities his partials seem more calculated and controlled, with the precise animations and engravings of some weird rune symbols, and this is the same magical energy xreath has hence the similar color scheme, and with xreath you defiantly get the feel for uncontrollable magic magic with the way all his abilities feel: with them being so raw, like it almost difficult for himself to control it, like for example he looks like he is coming undone in this Ult, i like they way they handle xreath, but if you feel unsatisfied, just get a skin dude i for one love the guardians of the sands one
they need to exaggerate it more with awesome visuals and sfx
All they would really need to do to make it look better is replace that hideous red range indicator ring with something a bit more befitting of Xerath, such as a pulse of arcane energy. And have an epic sound effect to go with it, of course.
The visual only needs a little tweaking. Change it from drops of fizzle to small energy meteors that slam into the ground.
They put his r and w on backwards. That would fix the problem
