Will the Void ever be touched upon? @Riot or someone

I'm just curious and worried, because it seems like the Void is the most forgotten bit of region lore now, and it seems that there will not be for a long time. The Void has and probably will always be my favorite lore part of LoL, now closely followed by the Darkin after Rhaast, but it just feels like there's nothing there for me to really love, as the Void is considered just a barren place with nothing going on. So is the Void ever really going to be looked at in a serious way with the release of a new Void champ or rework of an old Void champ?
