Yasuo is 28 at the oldest. Why does he look 42 in that art?
Why are his eyebrows so bushy? They're supposed to be long and straight.
Why is the tip of his nose so much deeper? It's supposed to be straight and slightly pointing forward at the end.
Why does he look so much more Asian overall? As an Asian character, he only looks slightly Asian. So why did the artist go overboard on Asian facial features? Does the artist know who Yasuo is? Did the artist AT LEAST look at what he actually looks like before drawing this false version of him? Why did this get OK'd? Does this prove that QA doesn't actually care about their job? Is there even QA for art?
It got drawn by a different artist than the one who did his splash.

Well Taliyah's short story takes place BEFORE we knew of Yasuo today. Like for instance the fact that only when gifted the thread by Taliyah did Yasuo actually tie his hair up. Same could be said about his nose and lack of scar.
Well it has been a few years since he came out He's probably gotten older
