I know Riot usually has teams work on specific projects at a time. Is there a team working on lore for champions currently in the game who don't fit in with the changes in lore? Like 
to name a few. If not currently being worked on, has this been talked about with the potential of being worked on the next season?
A team has been put together to work on all of the bios for current Champs. They are working to add a more in-depth introduction along the lines of those for Miss Fortune, TF, Graves and Gangplank. You will see more examples in the month ahead.
I think it's really clear that there's not such a team; otherwise these would have been updated by now.
His new backstory?
Okay, so CertainlyT was working a champion rework while listening to Phreak talk about his weight, when all of a sudden, the Lee Sin of the former lore ward-hopped to another dimension by accident, the post-lore rework Runeterra.
But it's k, he is blind so he doesn't notice much of a difference.
So now he is in the new Runeterra, having no idea he is in another world.
Just a reminder that Ahri shouldn't be portrayed as a slut.
believe it or not also revolved around the institute of war in his lore. Mainly on the whole, "Making war pointless and thus making my people have no source of income anymore" basic.
These champs will probably get Lore updates, when they get a general update. Look at Jax, Kayle and Morgana, they all NEED a VU, and Lee and Noc could use it as well. My guess is Riot is waiting for those updates to arrive, to release the new lore's.
What do you mean "no longer fit in"?

I'd appreciate Jax as a Human or maybe even Wukong's kin could be interesting. :p Jax as a Grandmaster at Arms would rather use a lamp post and somehow hit faster with it? Nope... Let's change all that.
Any chance we could get some real lore for 
? I would love for him to get a real story as apposed to, "Well this thing just possessed this man and went crazy the end."
Their is currently a narrative team in place to improve lore. I know one of them, although he started as of Braum. You can see the difference from pre and post Braum in terms of lore.
