@RIot, Will We Ever See Regularly Scheduled Lore Updates Return?
Back in the day, we used to get lore updates every two weeks.
Not only were those updates every two weeks, they were also awesome! We got cool stories about Blitzcrank's fleshling compatibility service, and Jax and Gragas wrecking up a bar and running off. There was even some cool political intrigue with the Institute of War.
While I understand that champion development takes a lot longer now, and we can't expect champions to be released every two weeks anymore... Riot has seemingly decided to nearly halt it's lore production post retcon. Compared to the amount of lore content Riot used to produce, there is a dramatic drop in the rate that lore content is released - with only a debatable change in quality. (The BIlgewater event was pretty awesome, but the Freljiord and Shurima events were kinda lackluster IMO. It also sucks to see beloved characters retconned into something they weren't)
it would be really cool if we could get story updates for the League of Legends on a regular basis again.
These days, Runeterra doesn't seem to have any development outside of event lore, and that only comes two or three times a year. Riot's lore production pales in comparison to what it used to be.
@RIot, could we get back to bi-weekly lore updates?
