A Testament To Legendary Lore: The League of Legends.

I just wanted to share some thoughts of mine here.

No matter what Riot does with its in game lore at this point, chances are, no one thing within this game will ever be as memorable as the League of Legends was.

I don't think Riot can create a better lore device than the League of Legends, for this game, but I challenge them to try.

In my opinion, this game feels kinda empty without the League of Legends, not to mention that post retcon, this games title is extremely ironic, seeing as how the "League of Legends" was removed from League of Legends lore.

It's kinda really stupid, but not in a funny way.

Although I dislike Riot's retcon direction, I do admire them for being gutsy and trying a new path.

Hopefully, it eventually pays off, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

All the same, best of luck with continuing the Retcon Riot.

Ive been ignoring his posts as much as I could, but really, does he need these much threads, saying the same stuck up thing everytime.

We already told him why his opinion is wrong long ago, he just wont acknowledge at all by this point, which makes any future complain thread kinda pointless if he keeps doing the same thing over and over.

There is also a limit to how much of the same constructive criticism a person can take, we are not dumb, we get the flaws, they are working on it.

Do you even take into consideration what other people think of your threads, no! So dont talk back to me like I am the one not seeing others peoples point of view.

I think you. Impetual, are the one who actually needs to cool down and read this thread bellow, since you obviously swept it aside as indicated with the existence of this thread. Also get less negative, cause right now even if something positive comes by with the lore, you will always have something negative to overthrow the positive and say "oh well we lost this so its obviously worse now"...GET LESS NEGATIVE ABOUT THE LORE, THATS ALL THAT IS NEEDED FOR YOU TO BE HAPPIER (or do you enjoy the act of complaining).

Not sure how this is possible, but ok. I mean, it's not like he's saying something blatantly racist or something. You can say an opinion is wrong, but for an opinion like this, I'm not even sure how you can say it's wrong.

Edit: Anyway, I don't stalk you, I see a few of your posts once in a while, and I actually leave them alone quite a bit. Most of the time they're at 0 upvotes when I see them for some reason.

Tesla Effect, here's the deal: I have my opinion about LoL. Although my viewpoint might not be popular, I'm gonna post about it, regardless about what you, or the player base at large thinks about it.

I'm never going to regret posting constructive criticism to Riot about League of Legends Lore, because that criticism is what Riot uses to make this game better.

To just suck things up and pretend that the mistakes Riot's made with their game don't exist only makes LoL worse.

It's in everyone's best interest to tell Riot that they're fucking up, when they're fucking up. Everyone should continue to do so, in hopes that Riot fixes the problems that people have with it's game. No game is perfect. There is always room for improvement. Listen to you players Riot.

What are you talking about? This thread isn't about any of the topics I've previously posted about.

While this thread does share the same viewpoint of my previous threads (since it comes from the same person) it's about a new discussion topic, and a new discussion topic warrants a new thread.

Tesla Effect, I know you don't like me. But try to get it through your head that my criticism of Riot's lore decisions are made, in hopes that Riot makes things better.

I used to kind a respect you, but lately, your responses seem to be filled with unjustified hate.

Tesla, I think you need to cool down and take the time to actually consider people's point of view.

I'm tired of hearing your ill-thought out knee-jerk reactions to opinions you don't agree with.

You're better than that.

If you're going to disagree with, at least explain how my opinion's are wrong, rather than just posting random shit about me that has no actual substance, like your comment I quoted.

You might phrase it differently but in the end all your threads boil down to "I don't like the retcon".

Sometimes you even give your thread an interesting title,but then you go back to complain about the retcon

And you do it over and over and over again....

Also I dunno how it is constructive criticism if you say

While many if my threads are complaints about the retcon, whenever I post a new thread I try to make it about a new idea or criticism. Although it admittedly may be serving the same point as some of my previous threads, I try to make each thread I create from a slightly different point of view. While I'll admit that those views are pretty much always "anti-retcon" I feel that each thread I make critiques the Retcon from a different perspective, making those threads worthy of a civil discussion among players and Rioters.
