@Riot, The Definitive Source Of Champion Bio's Should Be Their In Game Bio!
It makes no sense that you would want summarized lore in the in-game champion client lore tab!
Players who click on that tab want the lore, don't short change them!

Actually, I think it should probably be a webpage where all lore related to that champion should be listed or linked, given the current quality of the client. The client is rather small and I believe has obscure technical issues every now and then, like no spaces in champions' names when Quinn came out. However, the tab should provide a little teaser (preferably more than just a short boring description who they are) and a link to this webpage.
I think the client should simply offer you a short lore,but also the other lore pieces. I mean the short lore has its own function,it is a small introduction to the champ,which can be read if you want to get a quick impression of the champ,however it shouldn't make the full lore unavaliable,because then it'd make the champ look pretty flat.
The lore-section could be seperated into different sub-sections like: 1.Introduction,giving us the short lore and maybe a viewable model of the champ,where you might be able to switch to the different skins to look at them,I mean I remember someone from Riot talking about how they wanted to make the skin-models more visible for the players and the short-lore would still leave a lot of space for something else.
2.Relationships,this would be basically the "friends&Rivals"-stuff that we have on the main page,they could add some one-liner to explain these relationships and even include city states among them.
3.Lore pieces basically the place where all the other lores are gathered,stuff like long lores would fall into this category
4.Trivia section,just stating some random and interesting facts about the champ.
Of course doing something like this would be a lot of work(I can't say how difficult that is) and given the fact that currently the "tech-issues" are still not solved,I don't believe we will ever get something like this....
Seeing as the in-game bio is the only thing that can qualify as actual lore after violently separating the rest of the story from the game, yes, longer bios please.
I think the original Idea was to have the short bios in the game client, with a link attached to take you to a webpage with the full story.
Personally, I just want some kind of lore content put out on a consistent basis. A bimonthly comic or something. I think it's fine if the client shows just a blurb about the champion. Ideally there would be more lore (and more than just written stories) than could fit in a simple client page.
