Aside from being fucking gorgeous to look at, with amazing particles and a kickass recall, his VO is incredibly deep and complex and is a huge love letter to the Divine Comedy, especially Inferno. Thank you Riot. Did you at all actually research Dante while making the skin? I wouldn't be surprised, because there are some pretty clever allusions there, and I can tell his taunts towards specific champions will be thematically appropriate to the nine rings.

Gatekeeper Galio was one of the first skins I ever purchased, but I always felt let down because it never lived up to its 1820 pricetag. Now I am beyond ecstatic I own the skin. Gj Rito wp

I was impressed by the VO, but DAMN those particle effects are AWESOME!

may I say my opinion? if not, I will simply say that I think Udyr's recent skin (can't remember the name) looks much better both in client and in particle effects in game

to me, this kind of looks like they couldn't decide how to color the champion or what theme to give, so they gave him a bit of everything

this would actually make a better skin for Aatrox than Galio

Wrong, original commando galio WAS the best skin, his splash art had the whole "deal with it" vibe. Now that, along with my favorite champ (and name) are completely fucked. Fucking shit devs.

Don't get me wrong, Gatekeeper Galio is a fantastic skin, one of the best.

That being said, I kind of prefer Commando Galio. He just looks awesome and is the best commando skin out there.

Have to disagree as no skin in my eyes beats Elementalist Lux and how much work was put into that but i can see where you're coming from.

The only thing i don't understand is if he's evil or not. I mean he devours souls..

I absolutely love the rework, although I would tweak the face a bit....it is incredibly non-distinct.

I like the VO and particles (the wings and his E OMG <3) the most in this skin. Only thing I don't like are his new horns - with the old ones he could ve looked more like a "Balrog".

But imo this, standard and especially Enchanted (with later added particles) are my favourites.
