Item Lore?

Do items have lores associated with them and/or should they have their own lore biography? Only the Doran items I can think of have a lore.

I know some items like Void Staff, Talisman of Ascention and Targons Brace are shout outs to their respective locals but do they mean anything in the LoLverse? Other items like the Total Biscuits of Rejuvenation, Zekes Herald and Athenes Unholy Grail are shout outs to specific players/internet celebs but I think would be amazing still if they were attached to the world in some way.

Which God/priestess is weeping for the Tear of the Goddess? Guardian Angel/Seraph Embrace means that Kayle/Morgana's races of Angels/Demons are still canon? That there is a celestial pantheon in the LoLverse or a theology that is yet to be explored?

Who is Liandry and the Lord Van Damm?

Many items don't have specific lore attached to them (I WISH THEY DID GAH) but there are some that you can actually place in the world reasonably

The Guardian's Horn is the horn that Greyor wears on his back in the Howling Abyss. This ancient relic was made so that if the Watchers ever returned, Greyor could sound the horn, and all of Freljord would know the time had come to fight once more.
The Sunfire Cape bears the crest of Shurima, and as such was probably used by Shuriman soldiers or by an important Shuriman. Azir's soldier's wear capes that look a lot like Sunfire Capes. Coincidence?! I like to think not but that's just me.
The Seeker's Armguard was once worn by Lissandra, who was known as the Seeker during the reign of the Frozen Watchers. Sejuani now wears this armguard on the arm where her shield used to be. I dunno how she got it, but it's a thing!
Thornmail and Vampiric Sceptre are apparently Noxian in origin. What that pertains I don't exactly know and I also don't know if it's still canon.
Well it's kinda obvious where the Bilgewater Cutlass comes from, don't you agree?
The Executioners Calling is actually a mass produced weapon that Noxians used during their invasion of Ionia. That's from the JoJ, so it may not be 100% true anymore. The purpose was originally to make really severe wounds that Ionia's healers would have a hard time to heal, or potentially make them impossible to heal fully.
Frozen Mallet and Iceborn Gauntlet are both Freljordian artifacts used by the Iceborn.

These are ones I remember, but there may be some I missed. What I'm saying by all of this is I WANT ITEM LORE BADLY :(

Don't even know why, I just like the idea of item lore. Be it flavor text or champs alluding to their pasts with purchase quotes, I like this kind of stuff.

item 3301 item 3096 item 3069 From Shurima, discovered by the explorer Shurelia (Ex Riot Member). item 3190 item 3097 item 3401 Targon ( item 3170 Lunari maybe?) item 3159 Lantern of Grez, the lizard Lord (Based on Grez the player) item 3083 If i remember correctly, this armor has lore... they said that Warmog IS the armor and is a golemlike creature.... or something like that... i dont remember... item 3142 Ionian weapon of a person called like that.... item 3154 Discovered by Ezreal on the jungles, has the name of his previous owner written. item 3157 No idea who is Zhonya, but she or he was the owner of this item and the Zhonya Ring (A powerfull mage i suppose). The ring was stolen by someone. item 3153 Blade of the king of the shadow isles apparently item 3188 item 3508 item 3104 item 3090 item 3084 From the shadow isles. item 3031 The yordle merchant has this weapon... so... maybe is a weapon from bandle? item 3116 ... Umm... Rylai (The hero of Dota) was drunk and lost her scepter?
