Seems like a waste to make a whole new skin for a map, have it up for around 3 weeks and then never use it again.

It would be really neat if we could have rotating map skins like Howling Abyss and Butchers Bridge for ARAM. I for one would really appreciate the change of scenery.

My guess is some weird tech problem they have yet to disolve. They were working on the alpha client, replays and training mode so I guess they haven't got to that part yet. Though I have to give credit to Riot with working with all these messy spageti codes

You can still use it via modding, just like Bilgewater Music and GP Announcer.
