Is there a chance that there will be voice over updates? Also karthus ULT global voice?

(skip to bottom for global voice rant)

So I know this has nothing to do with gameplay but to me the feel of the champions is very important.

So I play mainly karthus (and xerath, chogath, diana, zilean) and I'm sure I'm fairly biased, but I've been searching the amount of voice files for each champion and I've found that someone like karthus has only 160 files over 2 skins whereas camille has about 700 over 2 skins and lux has like 600 for just the elementalist skin.

Is there any chance older champions like karthus will ever get a voice update? Ok I'm very biased. Time to be less biased. I don't play shaco but he has THIRTEEN voice files one of which is used twice. I mean come on! Shaco is really cool! Why doesn't he get more? Epic champions like azir and xerath have only like 150 per skin.

Personally I think someone like camille isn't all that epic when compared to azir, karthus, xerath, cho gath, shaco, aatrox, aurelion sol - yea I play most of these champions I'm biased, but doesn't it bother anyone else that someone like camille or elementalist lux has far more voice lines than some of these epic champions? Sol still has the longest amount of voice lines which makes me happy, but it's really because he talks slow.

I feel like it would be very awesome if they added tons of voice over content for these champions. Champions like these have like the best quote potential next to maybe kindred or jhin. I mean just look at some of karthus's quotes "Sing with your final breath" or "Cease to be" or when he's taunting lucian about joining his dead wife senna. But fine I'm biased screw him, look at shaco, hes has mad potential! Look at zilean - SO MANY POTENTIAL TIME PUNS. Why not more references and voice lines for someone drifting through time?

I understand there are voice actor and budget focus limitations, but personally I would much rather new champions have less voice over content and more of it be added to the existing champions especially those who lack it.

AS FOR GLOBAL VOICE

Karthus would be SO much better if he had it. Everyone knows his long cooldown ult would be amazing with it and would add an impact element to it. It's not spammable and would be absolutely epic.

This was asked before and I believe (although I'm not 100% sure on this) that Riot's answer was something like "He doesn't have a quote iconic enough"

Sion already has one. Nocturne has it - which makes sense because they both come with a warning screen effect. Kalista, Azir, whatever... KARTHUS deserves one. Take a random Karhus quote and make it global just for the ult and you have a champion with even more badass power.

There have been several VO updates such as Lux and Maokai. I think they're only doing them in some cases when they already have the voice actor in for something else (Lux's VA was in for Elementalist Lux) and we don't know what Maokai's was in for yet. I'm personally hoping they have Thresh and Caitlyn VO's in the works seeing as their VA's have both done stuff recently. Thresh especially, cause he has so much potential for an awesome VO that his current one just doesn't fulfill with his 2 interactions with Nautilus and no one else (why Nautilus? Why not Lucian or Yorick or other Shadow Isle champions?).

Dont forget Kass who gets like 11 lines total on basically all his skins.

Just make it whichever quote he says when he casts Requiem, they're all good. Except if he has a unique taunt for the champion that would be hearing it. It would be so awesome if a low hp Lucian is backing and all of a sudden just heard "Lucian! Join her!"

They are doing them, but it's going to be a slow process. Right now Riot is only updating in situations where the Voice Actor is in the recording studio and they have some spare time to redo the VOs. I think once they finally get most of the big VGUs and Gameplay updates out of the way, they will start taking a closer look at VO updates.

VO's are incredibly difficult. As not only does Riot need to update the english dub, but they need to do it for each country as well.
