Yorick, Kallista, Lucian, and Kindred

So recently I read the lore of Lucian, and that made me curious about several things:

  1. Looking at the gameinfo, you'll notice that it says that Yorick is friends with Kindred. But on Kindred's page, one can see that she is rivals with him. Why is that? Kindred seems to not like undead, so why does Yorick like her? Is it that he longs for death?

  2. Another strange thing is the fact that although Kindred is rivals with Yorick, she doesn't have any opinions on Kalista. Kalista is an undead champion if I am not mistaken. Kalista's goals don't align with KIndred's, but Yorick's do align with Kindred's. Why is Kindred only rivals with Yorick, someone who agrees with Kindred?

  3. Kalista's goals do not align with Yorick's. Why is Yorick friends with her? She is not friends with him though. I guess Lady Vengeance doesn't have time for friends.

  4. What could be Lucian's relationship with Yorick and Kalista? Lucian's only enemy is Thresh, but he says that all undead are a blight on the world. Would he like Yorick for trying to free the undead? I doubt he would like Kalista considering she is just a vengeful undead spirit.

Kindred's relationship with Yorick is outdated, as it was before Yorick's rework. Now, I wouldn't exactly say that Yorick is 'Friends' with Kindred, but he does have a close relationship with them in a sense (because of how close he is to death, he constantly sees Wolf and fears him). Nowadays, the League relationships are listed in the Universe website, but they aren't specific and just left as "Related," leaving the community to theorize.

AS for Lucian, Yorick mentions that he and Kalista share similar goals (though it's said that Kalista is losing her humanity due to how she consumes souls that make a deal with her), and he also mentions that he can't see Lucian's wife, hinting that she's probably still alive. Now, Lucian's goal is to basically cleanse the world of all undead, which does include Yorick and Kalista, but those two have a more specific goal with taking down the workings of the Ruined King and the evil of the Shadow Isles.

New Yorick(lol almost saying new york), is a guy that would be cool with Kindred they are natural death, he is resisting it because he feels he needs to saying in the living realm until he is done, so if he fails, Wolf. He wins, Lamb. either way he is cool with Kindred.

He would have a tense relationship with Lucian as he hates the undead and would have a hard time trusting Yorick.

His relationship with Kalista would also be tense because she is not herself as she is eating up vengeful souls and Yorick is trying to save them, even if they want to save the shadow isles that is it. Yorick also thinks that Kalista is hurting the souls she is taking because their are in a vulnerable position and takes advantage of them even of she doing it for a noble cause.

  1. Yorik wants to free all undead from undeath so they can die. Kindred don't like undead and would also want that. Thats why Yorik likes Kindred. Kindred don't like Yorik because they see him as he is running from death. Using his vile of healing water so he can live forever. That's why they don't like him. He is not undead, he is alive but have still suffered by the black mist.

  2. Kalista did not choose undeath. She didn't want it, but she got cursed by the mist either way. That is why they don't have such a big problem with her, although they want to kill her as she is supposed to have died. As I said Yorik is alive and running from death saving himself with the vile of water, even though he will kill himself when he is done with purifying the isles.

  3. Yorik probebly sees her as a undead being that is against undeath much like himself. He probably sees her as someone who fights it, along with himself, Moakai and lucian even though they are all doing it solo. Kalista probably don't care about Yorik and only cares about killing Heca and get vengeance for things.

  4. He would most likely try to kill Kalista for good and kill Yorik, either for looking like an undead or for creating and using undead ghouls to fight for him.
