Rioters have already said a few times (Meddler said it again yesterday) that Taric's big update will come after Aurelion Sol's release but before the next champ after AS is revealed. Taric has been worked on for over a year now.

Ah please, they promise a Traic Update for YEARS now. Until i see it rolling on the PBE, i dont belive a single word coming from their mouth about how soon™ they will do it...

As I said, they've been working on him since late 2014 or early 2015 and he'll be out very soon. Riot have never said "Taric is coming very soon" or anything of that manner, until a month ago. He's actually pretty much finished right now, from it seems, and the team is currently working on final polishes, balancing the numbers and playtesting him everyday probably. Just saying.

It was already confirmed that Tarics update will likely come after Aurelion Sol(before the champion that comes after him) and Sols VO even references Tarics update as he talks about Taric in relation to Mt.Targon.

Actually is already being reworked. Likely it's just testing out his kit, working out bugs, and hammering out details in his skins right now that's keeping him from being released at the moment.

Which is not true as he is the current rework not the next.

New champions do not count as reworks, thus Taric is not the next, but the current.

Or you could take it to mean that he is the next rework to come out. I wouldn't say that he is done yet, he isn't released. so therefore he is the next to be "reworked" Sorry you're so picky with words.

I'm a very literal person, so when I use or see words used I take them in the exact meaning that they are spoken or written. It's something I need to work on about myself.
