The Darkin theory

As of Kayns release a new Darkin will enter the stage, Rhaast The Darkin Scythe and brother to a certain memeAatrox Jokes aside the Darkin are one of the more interesting beings in lore because of the mystery that follows them. Who they are, what is their mission, are they more than parasitic weapons. Or are they something much more horrific. In the League universe there are gods, beings of unimaginable power and influence like Nagakeboros who can be seen as a god of fate, a hand that pushes mortals towards their desires, a being that sees a mortals future and guides them towards it, and if they fail they are cast aside(they die). But what do gods have to do with Darkin you may ask, well there is a reason for the Darkins existence in that they live for battle and slaughter. Some are more refined in their approachAatrox and some just want to murder everyone they see with a scythe. Whatever the case the results are always mass murder and bloodshed but for what reason? Simple, as Illaoi guides people to chase their dreams and fates and thus doing her gods work, what if the Darkins are also doing the same but for a god of blood and battle. This way we know why the Darkins exist as sorts of greater demons spreading war and chaos in the name of their creator while also expanding on the more cosmic side of this universe.

Anyway i hope this madmans insane raving and theorys got your lore wheels spinning in your head as well as damaging your English as a result Thank you for the read*[slayer-pantheon-thumbs]*

Interesting thought, I feel like that may be a very good possibility that they were created for the use of the god of war. However my own opinion is that the darkin since they are immortal might actually be fallen gods sating themselves with the blood of the fallen to grow even more powerful and somehow ascend back to their godly status. The only problem with this is that aatrox has partaken in so many battles that he/it would probably be ascended by now. Or a side thought is that the darkin are weapons the magelords or protectorate created with some dark magic that after many battles became so sated that they dark magic corrupted them into sentient weapons, just some thoughts guess we won't know until riot clues us in.[zombie-brand-mindblown]
