I think leaving it like that is fine. it might mean that iblitzcrank simply has another position in the program-skin verse(like Lissandra and soraka are some sort of mission control beings,but iBlitzcrank seems to be a mass-produced mook)
Kinda like how Creator viktor isn't named battlecast viktor,because he is in a different position;).
I'd say leave it. It's just a name at the end of the day. I mean, we have a lot of lava themed skins that they don't even share the same name: Molten Rammus, Scorched Earth Xerath and Volcanic Wukong.
No, iBlitzcrank was a promotional skin for the Mac version of LoL launch. It's the skin's whole point. Besides not everything has to be categorized into a "theme" i personally prefer those odd skins that fall into no theme and stand as their own. (Outback renekton, grandma WW, etc)
