@Riot Narrative, Are You Listening? Do our Posts Matter?

I know that you guys don't want to comment on certain threads, for various (and legitimate) reasons, but it would be nice to hear some acknowledgement that you are at least reading most of the threads in the Story & Art Section.

That's why I made this thread

It would be especially nice to know if you are open to taking constructive criticism in Riot's new lore direction, and if you are open to altering your course based off of productive/creative ideas.

Please Riot Narrative Team, can you make it clear what your stance is on constructive criticism on the forums, how you respond to it internally, and how much of an impact it has on your future decisions? (If Any?!)

They do. Thats one of the 2 reasons why we didn't get the full shurima-lores yet,because they took our criticism and want to improve them a bit before releasing them(ok there is also a technical problem)

They honestly need to get back on the forums. if they don't come and start dping meaningful dsicussion that doesn't include long winded bullshit and fishing (see the /ff Narrative Team thread for the long winded bullshit, then Narsil's post to mine for the fishing).

At this point it feels like Riot doesn't want to write for us - we don't like something. This is not a James Patterson series; we're not waiting for Rick Riordan's Blood of Olympus to be released. This is not Halo 5: Guardians, where what happens, happens. This is League of Legends; it is malleable and continuous, a story of everything and anything possible.

Riot is writing a story they can fix and revise any time they want - they proved it with the horrible Karma and Trundle reworks, they proved it with Freljord and Shurima, and probably Shadow isles and poor Iona or Piltover will be next.

By the Mothership, the Narrative Team needs to realize they aren't writing novels but the lore of a MOBA.

Well Mr. Carnival Knights did just get in a discussion, which he then turned in to a thread to garner out thoughts and feelings about Nocturne and several other champions who's lores are now completely out the window because of the League Retcon, and this was just a few days ago. I'd say yeah, our opinions and thoughts do matter to them, I mean they wouldn't have come back and started having chats every now and again if they didn't care. Of course they're not going to be posting on every thread, and they're not going to be active every day, very few Rioters are, I mean they have a jobs, but they've come around, started chatting and such, so yeah, it seems to matter.

ehr, not wanting to drop some useless comment but... they stated a lot of times they do. that they read threads and if not them themselves people that then refers to them. They said they can' t always post else they not only would clutterred tracker but also spend more time writing than answering meaningful questions. Or, just, actually work because the forum part is only a minimum part for them.

About the stance thet posted and posted and posted a lot of times, so much that would have been better if they did a sticky with all those questions pre-explained. I can tell that comments and posts have an impact, but not always focused on what do you say. For example if you want to change the lore direction of Teemo, let' s say for example' s sake, they rather want to know why you want that direction rather how you want it, and even if your own post is not considered sacred is weighted and considered in the final meting pot along with all other ideas and posts of other people, writers, developers and so on. There are times where a post has more vision and some othetr times it has not, but hell they can' t give equal vision to everything right?

I hope you get answered, but for time beign this is my knowledge for you.
