Can Skin Colors Match The Splash Art?
This isn't a hate thread, and I think Riot does great work with their skins, but my only issue is that the colors of the splash art and the in game models don't always match.
Take Dragon Sorceress Zyra, for example. It's a great skin, no complaints there, but in the splash art Zyra has this pale white, with the faintest touch of pink shade of skin, very fair, with only hints of light purple scales, while her hair is almost platinum blonde. However, in game, her hair is practically strawberry blonde, and only a shade away from being pink, while her skin is straight up purple with large dark purple patches for her scales. Another example would be Infernal Akali. In the splash art, she has this deep red with hints of orange shade for her flames, but in game, she's just yellow all over.
What really brought this to my attention was when I looked at the new Cosmic skins coming out. While looking at their splash art, they have this very deep dark golden-bronze coloration for their metal, but then when I looked at the in game models, instead of a dark golden-bronze, it's the brightest shade of gold in existance, at least when compared to the splash art.
Sure, you can reason that the in game skins don't look how they do in the splash art because in the splash art the character is in a certaint type of lighting, but then my question is "Why didn't they put the character in the proper lighting to show off the true coloration?"
I just wish more skins matched how they do in the splash art.
