RIOT NO LONGER HAS A CINEMATIC TEAM

Soz for the caps but; Digic productions were the people who animated, rendered, modelled, shaded and put to life the cinematic"Awaken" and I wish people would stop giving that credit to Riot.

The same thing goes for K/DA which was created by Fortiche Prod, again, not Riot games.

Literally only 3 cinematics were ever made by Riot's cinematic team before it was discontinued, those being "Annie: Origins" "Pentakill" and "As We Fall"

Sure Riot has connections with these thematics, but mostly just through concepting. All the hard work is done through outsourcing.

I'm sure a lot of people know this but it's hard to thank them on Riot's own forums. We appreciate all the work gone into it, from the animators to the music composers to the singer. All are involved in producing a well made video to promote Riot's game.

Yea it's common for animation studios to outsource to other animation studios just look at the credits for any movie and you will see alot of studios involved in a project even thou that movie may be credited to Sony or universal or something. It's just the way things are done. So I guess it would make sense to discontinue the cinematic team if all your gonna do is hire someone else, even thou it's not fair at all to the people who lost their jobs.

Riot should credit or at least mention each studio that makes their cinematics at the time of their release. Right now I have to do a lot of digging and waiting around to see if any of the studios Riot’s worked with in the past have posted anything new to their work pages. :/

But still that's Riot knowing who to outsource for the projects. Like you can still give credit to Riot for getting in touch with a good contact.

That's like telling everyone that the architect of a building doesn't do hard work also. The concept and planning is just as important as the execution in the end. Thanks for the recognition of these studios, although both deserve plenty of credit since outsourcing can be done by many different companies but without riot or the concept there wouldn't be anything at all.

Actually the pentakill one is the best cinematic in the game, so... Better for them not to outsource again.

Does the fact that they use other cinematic companies or teams really matter? It doesn't deem them in a unprofessional matter either lol. Big deal over nothing
