We asked for this feature since forever. Okay, it still is no link to the overall Universe Website, but the first step in the right direction, I guess? If you click on the "Learn More" button you land on the Universe site of the said champion.
It is only a little featue, but I appreciate it.

Can't believe it took so long. I remember rioters talking about something like this back then when the short lores were introduced,which was back then in season 4 if I remember correctly....

I had no idea it was already live! The clicks are already stacking up, we will soon know a lot more about which champs you guys are most interested in... :-)

Sounds like IE is your default browser. If you want to change it, then (for Win10):
Other operating systems have similar steps, but the internet can help you out there :D

I tried removing it directly off of my computer but now it only asks me to open it in these weird browsers in the computer itself rather than any other application like chrome. Makes no sense, but if i wait for ie to start responding again i usually can just copy the url into chrome and do it that way.
my computer is pretty old and its got alot of problems, but I appreciate the advice nonetheless. Here's to hoping I can get a better one sometime in the distant future.

I've accepted that this pc kind of sucks haha, but i really do appreciate your help.

One of the biggest issues with League Lore is that it often feels out of reach for people who aren't already into it, and this is a solid way to circumvent that issue.

I understand the prospects of reaching out to more players. But League's already promoted narrative IP has been ongoing for (4-5) years now. If links are deemed useful to someone, they would have to be extremely naive of these last few years. Perhaps they hardly even play the game anymore and at this point are they even the type to care for what they find anyway?
But hey if links helps everyone sleep better knowing Average Joe has "access" to the lore, then who am I to question the trivial benefit of having them.
Lady Faceless1 votesI kinda disagree. Ofc, find the Universe Site isn't that difficult to find, but the Universe site is only promote for new content or an event (Demacia, Piltover & Zaun icon). Otherwise, the Average Joe doesn't see it. The truth is the Universe website doesn't make the new lore accessible. There are still things missing on the Universe page (the Demacia Video and Art, for example) and sometimes lore content is hidden in Nexus article (White marking shows that you mastered the shadows, see the Kayn Nexus article). Not consider how often a Riotler does give use the answer in this boards. I love the lore, I really do. But I hate how hidden it is and how much time I have to spend to find all these lore bits. Not consider, we are still lacking a lot of fundamental world building.
Whyte Lyon1 votesBut this lore isn't for the Average Joe. Dont take me out of context, Im not saying it's only for this "niche club" of league enthusiasts. But the only type of person who will bother going down the Rabbit Hole are the type who are already dedicated to the game, in some form of another. And if they are already dedicated to playing the game but still naive of it's lore, then new links isn't going to change much.
If your Average Joe misses the promoted events, are they going to be gutted by that? Are they going to wish that the lore was MORE accessible? ...
IDK, agree to disagree I suppose. As much as I'm skeptical any of these links are as useful as everyone else thinks they are, I'm still indifferent about their actual implementation to the client. What will be, will be.

Do what I do, document tons of trivia onto your phone, then you can recite the difference between a Dormun and a Ralsiji. You'll instantly become the biggest virgin on the boards and with your friends alike, but hey that's worth it right?

I'm the same, tho. A riotler said something? Already have a screenshot and the permalink saved. I can almost always back myself up, but the way we handle lore is clearly "passionate lore nerd" and not "average lore-reader".
