What is your detailed thought process behind the lore retcon?
Why Riot? Was it for money? Was it for Success? Why?

TheCeeJay7 votesProbably because having us players as Summoner's and the champion's knowing this breaks the fourth wall more than it should. That makes it hard to build a world where the lore actually matters and feels alive.

If no one at Riot cares about this stuff as much as I do you're kinda proving my point. Riot should care a hell of a lot about the lore it releases.

Feel free! I don't really care about skill levels with people I play with, but as long as you don't rage when things don't go your way, I'm up for a game anytime.
I play this game for fun. People who rage are anti-fun in my opinion. I'd rather play with newbs than ragers.
Although be advised: I don't really care much for playing ranked solo games (I usually play my 10 ranked games per season, end up in high silver, and then pretty much only play with my friends.
I don't find trying to climb the ladder any fun at all. I have way more fun playing random games with my friends.
I mean seriously, there's so much randomness involved in every ranked game that it doesn't even feel worth it to play ranked.
No offence to Riot, but with matchmaking being so bad sometimes, I don't even feel remotely inclined to play ranked anymore, as most games feel like a crapshoot. You get lucky or you don't. As 1/5th of the party, you don't have a very big influence on the game unless you get really fed. Where's the skill in that?
Also the lore retcon kinda killed the lore roleplaying aspect of this game for me. I have a lot of fun playing with friends, but I pretty much never play alone anymore.
I have no idea what my skill level is at in terms of Riot's established tiers, but I'd love to play with you if we're both online at the same time.
If you see me online, add me, and I'll probably play with you. I'm pretty much up for any kind of game at anytime. I just in it for the fun.

@GenociderX, I was trying to be pretty descriptive of how I like to play this game in my previous comments in this post. In case it didn't come across, I don't like to play with super competitive shits that insult other players of their team .
I just wanna play a game with some friends, try to strategically outsmart our opponents, and then, win or lose, have a really good time.
That's what I'm all about. That, and games with high quality lore that is properly supported.
