To be 100% honest, I thought it was an Elise skin before I realized the comic was titled "New Champion Teaser". (I just woke up from a nap, so I'm not yet awake; just clicked on whatever new link was on the League home page. x3)

With her legs being blades, at first they just looked like slim bug legs like Elise; then she is shooting her wires and flying all over the place like Spiderman. I thought maybe it was some type of robotic skin, like the PROJECT skins or the Program ones.

Indeed. Especially when she starts dangling from those threads and stuff. It is Elise who decided to weaponize her built-in stiletto heels.

I disagree. The only difference I can see is that they have the same body type and are both women.

The legs and feet have the same bladed design, and the comic shows her off as being very Elise-like with her "webslinging".
