Okay, admittedly I wasn't sure what to do with this one because I actually rather liked the new artwork. I think the new thinner body fits her. I messed around with her face a little bit, though.

Tweaks: http://i.imgur.com/0QY2FWv.png Changes I made: I made her face and neck slightly fuller, I changed her eyes to look a little less ethereal and more human again, I tweaked her hair colour so that it is more the blonde that it was, and I made her ears shorter and smaller. I also tweaked her shoulders, making it stick out less on the right and raised a bit more on the left. I also did the back of her ribcage and changed her armpit slightly.

Tweak v2: http://i.imgur.com/7RII8eL.png Added tattoo, tweaked the shoulder a little bit more. (The one on our right.) took out some of the "colour bleed" from the blonde hair touch up.

I did some changed to the lighting, trying to make her look more like she is in the sun and thus brighter/warmer.

Looking at it I may have pulled the shoulder back a bit too much, whoops.

But yes. Thoughts?

Good changes. She was starting to look like a stick in the upper body as well as an elf. Though Riot doesn't need to change her splash at all, imo. Their energies could be better spent elsewhere.

Such minor issues I can barely tell the difference between all of them. People just being so nit picky that they want their version of a "perfect woman" when shes not even human AND IS A MOTHER FUCKING CARTOON DRAWING

Great work on the arm tattoo, im surprised the original artist missed it. Im not too sure why the artist made her hair pale which makes it harder to discern from the clouds and her clothing. I like what you did there too. Although, I'd prefer her old gauntness and longer ears.

I was a little disappointed with the new splash at first, because she became 'uglier' but as I looked again and then again I ended up liking it more. The 'ugly' made her more human vs looking like a doll. Many of the LoL female champions lack facial features. This new Janna has a gaunt face and a 'weak' jaw line. Fitting for a elf mutant that glides on air.

Her dead expression drives me crazy though, like she gave up on life and is about to kill her self. :/

It does looks better to be honest but there is this thing that's bugging me off from these threads and I'll voice it as politely as I can.

Touching up someone's artwork without explicit permission is not only illegal (artists tend to overlook legality) but also rude, if someone would take my work and modify it, I'd probably loose my shit. There's a huge difference in criticizing something and blatantly meddling with it. I understand this is a beloved character and the artist behind the first artwork took several liberties and you guys are just trying to help but try to put yourself in the shoes of the artist, you're basically saying his work is wrong and instead of trying to correct him you're saying: "hey I know better than you, so I'll build from what you did and hope for recognition" ...

The artist behind these artworks took several days trying to bring their own twist to the characters and in a matter of hours you managed to take away everything that made his/her artwork unique (and then the forums complains about watering down champions...). It's awesome to have a community that is involved so much on the champions but if you want to give feedback then write it down or create a complete splash art on your own, don't undermine someone's work by modifying what you don't like, IT'S THEIR WORK, NOT YOURS.

I don't think there's a better way to say it, it's rude, modifying splash arts is rude to the artists who happen to have such a big hearth that they don't complain about it and instead try to juggle it all into a better perspective. They will definitely learn from this but using your edits will simply make them look bad, so if you care for their work, please, stop.

As with Ahri, I was coming to like/be okay with the new Janna splash, but again I think your work is a great improvement, specifically the addition of pupils and brightening up her hair and the image as a whole. I know people are sort of split about the tattoo, I personally think she looks better without it, she doesn't seem like she would have a tattoo and in fact doesn't in her in game model, but I think you did a good job with it nonetheless. I also like your changes to her smile, but I'm not sure if a more natural looking smile can be made without completely redrawing her lips. Great work again, though!

I like the color tweaks, I think the majority of the white colored splash arts that they made look much too blue! (ahri janna, can't think of any other of the top of my head) I also think the neck and face changes are nice, but I prefer the original art's ears. Janna isn't technically human...? (Right?) She IS sort of an elf... thing. I think that's why they made her face and neck skinnier, and her ears the way they did. Looks very nice though! Definitely like the hair and color tweaks. (Edit) Not saying you didn't know she was elfish, (just read the comments) I just prefer the longer ears myself. :)

Her face is what ruins it for me and no amount of "tweaking" will change that. (Need an entire re-do of the facial structure.) That aside... I'm not sold on this one... He hair seems fine to me, but having it better represent the color that will be seen in-game is always optimal.

I still don't see why she is getting yet another splash VU...

Huge fan of Tweak V2. The V3 doesn't suit her as much IMO, but you're very talented with these tweaks.

Well perso i really want her "tattoo" But really she look cool whit white hair :D

And it fit more with the white clothing she got

And i like the new art of Ahir too :D

Think you could try putting back the shoulder tattoo?

I really, really dig what you did with the hair color. Adds a sense of luminosity to the picture.

This is my first comment on the boards... and in general and well I really just have to say these tweaks are not needed... Her lore states that Janna is not so truly human-like anymore. The changes make her look like a pointy-eared human. Where as with the new splash untouched you can tell she's almost as frail as morgana.... something ethereal and unknowingly gorgeous about it. The lithe body and lack of pupils really show she's in touch with her magic, and she's casting her ult so of course her hair will look washed out. Monsoon does not = brightness... and idk the old tattoos really cheapened her and just didn't fit imo. But you made an effort I just think it was not worth it imo...

What they did with my eve made her look all cell shaded and just gross lol.

riot keeps shading things so dark. Light = better

i feel like her facial structure is to far gone from what she really looks like but the tweaks do look better it still doesnt really look like her at all hopefully the artist that did it can go back and make her match her in game model more
