What people don’t understand about skins.

Everytime skin releases come out, a good vocal part of the borda rises out in anger as they see X champ get a skin before Y.

While this argument is sometime fair, people should take into consideration, “does a champion really need another skin? Does X need a skin a year?”

Lets take, Kha’Zix, who has a decent enough line up of skins. Elderwood for more nature themed, Mecha; well for mecha themed, Guardian of the Sands for odd alt universe. Does he really need more skins? Would he be fine waiting because his skin line up covers a good deal of the bases?

For alot of champions in this game, they have a decent line up of skins and don’t really need more, and i would rather go the Quality over Quantity route, and have fewer skins.

(Note: this is not saying I don’t want skins for say, A Sol, Illaoi, etc.)

Then we have Lux, who already has a Legendary and an Ultimate skin, and is going to be receiving another Epic skin soon...

Champions who are popular and sell the most Ahri Ezreal Lux etc will always have a higher priority on new skins than those who aren't that much popular, it's what brings the majority prefers and what brings the most profits which is mostly anime and generally asian styled pretty champions

There are a lot of factors that come into play regarding skins. Buying power and likeliness of purchase of the player-base of a champ being one. If Lux and Ahri players tend more to just buy whatever cool skin comes out, and there are a lot of these players, then why not make more skins for them so you can bankroll a team to work on say a Yorick skin, which might have less players, and of those players a lesser percentage of skin buyers.
