Can we get a little bit of love for Baron in the lore?

After the big lore update riot did I don't believe that Baron has really had anything said about him. In fact I think the only new reference to Baron would be in this ask riot thread: https://nexus.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/2019/03/ask-riot-dragon-vs-baron

Now I don't know if this has been redacted but at least we can safely assume that Baron is from the void and that Baron in summoner's rift is not a true to life model of what the actual baron looks like due to this post during the LAN Q&A http://forums.lan.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=83554&page=42#post554420)

Just even something like the reference to him that was in JoJ Volume 1 Issue 13 would be fine by me because at least it would clarify some more about Baron Nashor.

I'm fairly confident Baron (along with Herald) isnt part of the prime canon. Although I'm sure he exists in many different capacities in AU's. Otherwise it serves a gameplay purpose, and that's all it really needs to be.

Baron was originally canonically from the void (and the Rift Herald is corrupted by the void rift he comes from; the void pit on the map), but of course, after the retcon, now we don't know if there's an actual Baron Nashor in Runeterra. I would assume there might be, though, since Voidborn can come in many shapes and sizes.

Besides Vel'Koz, we actually don't have any info about the other actual Voidborn yet post-retcon, save for a little bit on Rek'Sai. But I would assume that there will be an actual Voidborn update in the future; perhaps that non-humanoid champion in the works is one. And hopefully we'll get some info on the canon incarnation of Baron then.
