I think the moment Demacia knows a powerful mage has been hiding powerful magic artifacts without demacian consente, Ryze is the one that will have to worry.

Only ryze knows about the world runes !
The rune vault is hidden under a forest of petricide..so magic can not detect it . Also there is no direct entrance to it..ryze had to reality warp to go in!
