Riot. why is the lore of League of Legends lore so broken after months of retconnig?

Can you tell us what the issue is here? Do you lack the staff to re-write LoL lore?

Do you lack the imagination?

What do you lack, and how can the player-base help?

I'm sorry to say to say this RIot, but you've clearly shown that your recent team lacks the ability to release lore in an reasonable time frame.

Heck. the fact that the retcon still isn't over kind of proves this!

If Rioters can't release Lore bi-weekly anymore, they should seek help from the playerbase, as they are full of ideas!

Riot, if you aren't up to the task of developing lore for League of Legends, Let us help!

Dude, you're doing it again....

And I might be kind of in a bad mood right now, but to play devil's advocate, WHY should they? This is a world of give and take. What do they get out of giving us more lore? A warm fuzzy feeling in their hearts? A chance to see our happy, smiling faces? All very nice things, but those only go so far. This isn't an RPG. This isn't WoW, with games and books of lore behind it. This isn't D&D, which was entirely designed around having a focused lore. This is a MOBA. At the end of the day, the lore only serves to tell us who we're fighting as, how they fight, and just sometimes, why they fight. They're not obliged to give any more. Would it be nice to have a full, cohesive, epic backstory? Damn straight, theres way too many questions that need answering. But its not an imperative issue for them. The game isn't going to break down because we don't know what Lissandra is up to, or what Mordekaiser really wants, or even what Nocturne is upto these days.

I'd love to see them get more community involvement with perhaps an intern type thing in an unofficail capacity so people that are busy can at least pass along info and the so called community intern could take the time and pass it along. The last time I saw a Riot post about passing along info from Player Behavior was they were so busy they couldn't break stuff down the way they wanted to deliver it out to the community. Having some helpers from the community would help.
