It would be really interesting to me to hear detailed Rioter impressions about the lore retcon.
What do Rioter's think about the League of Legends being retconned out of the game's existence?
What do Rioter's think about how some champion's are being "changed" so they can fit the framework of the retconned lore?

None of the characters is supposed to have a story in the first place its a moba pvp arena lores and stories arent for mobas, you must be happy that they even bothered to put some paragraphs.
I'd suggest you to play FFXIV if you really want lore but from mobas dont expect these things

Using the excuse that this game is "just a MOBA game" shouldn't be free pass to make crappy lore.
League of Legends used to have really awesome lore, and I'd love for them to aspire to that again.
Back in season 1 and 2, good lore is what helped separate LoL from the other upstart MOBA's, and I don't want Riot to lose sight of that.
The excuse that MOBA's don't need to have quality stories is bullshit. It's utter nonsense that is shameful to the concept of good game design.

Sorry, but I disagree with you. I don't think Riot's given any satisfactory answers to the questions I'm supposedly spamming.

People have provided examples to you. Time and time again you've disagreed and just showcased your stubbornness on the subject. Stubbornness is fine but you showcase an unwillingness to compromise.

You make claims about me, and then make excuses why you won't back up what you say about me with any kind of actual evidence, or even a cohesive argument. Your basically making a post saying that I'm wrong for reasons you're too good to post about because doing so is beneath you...sorry to say this, but you're kind of a pompous prick.
The whole point of having forums is to discuss things in detail, and by saying that your too good to discuss these things....i dunno, it makes me like you less.

Please, humor me, support your claim....if you have the balls. Link satisfactory Rioter posts explaining the reasons for the lore Retcon that actually stand up to scrutiny (by that I mean, explanations that still make sense after being examined and evaluated by the community, that were issued around the time of the retcon announcement.)
By the way, the lore retcon announcement was overwhelmingly** negatively **received at the time of it's announcement, if you try to spin that in anyway, you're pretty much straight up lying. The retcon announcement by Riot had several hundreds of downvotes. Yet Riot went ahead with it.

Please, if you can, put me in my place. I wanna see these answers Riot's provided that you speak of, that I've apparently missed.
Just don't give me that tired and lame excuse that none of the new could have existed with the Institute of War and the League of Legends. That pretty obviously untrue, as all of the new lore could still fit within the original world of Runeterra with slight adjustments.
To be sincere, I** think** the problem is that Riot downsized it's lore team and restructured their development teams to make lore have to fit around gameplay, rather than make gameplay fit around lore...which I think is the far more interesting approach. But I guess it's the more e-sports focused approach.
