Ivern Last Champ of 2016?
Curious, title says it all. Think we have time to squeeze in another new champ before the year ends or no? I kind of hope we do xD

Not a clue. Could potentially be, but given the somewhat increased cadence of champion releases we might see a sixth this year.
I don't think so. There usually isn't another release after World's once the holiday seasons begin.
I'd say it is quite likely.
Just look at the time intervals between the champs this year:

The only gap between champion releases this year that was longer than 2 months was between and who had still less than 3 months between them.
And given the fact that we still have ~2 and a half months left( a bit less since riot takes a break at the end of the year) there is a good chance for a new champ to come out(no guarantee,but a good chance)
I would prefere that RIOT takes time and then comes with another concept as unique as Ivern. I honestly prefere 4 unique Champions each year over 12 generic champions.
I think we have enough time for 1 more. Next champion is supposedly made around 1 ability riot thought was cool and then they made the rest of the around said ability. pretty excited to find out
I hope not because I want my attention on ivern lol and ww and the assassins are already going to try and distract me
2014 had 6 champions released. 2015 had 5 champions released. 2016 has had 5 champions released so far, and there's about 2 months left. Could be late in the year, could be early next year we see a new champ.
Must say, Ivern is the first new champ I bought right away since season 4...and he is my favorite champ so far. Hopefully, they can release a non-candy king skin for him sometime soon.
Ivern will be the last Champion of Season 2016, now not sure if he will be the last champ of the year...that depends on if will get any new champs pre-season or just champion updates.
I find it highly unlikely that we'll get another new champion this year. We have worlds and the holidays coming up which usually means less time for actual new releases. Let alone when they usually release a champion it takes about a month for it to be released. We usually get a "sneak peek"/hint of the new champion and that takes a week, then the following week is the teaser, showing the champions,but not releasing them for testing yet, after that week they are finally release for testing and that usually takes two week of testing on the PBE.
