Taliyah Praise

This is the first time I can remember where the full-blown lore of a character is revealed for their trailer, and goddamn if it's not amazing. First off, if you haven't read it, I encourage you to do so IMMEDIATELY! Link is up above. First off, her artwork is so enthralling, it gives a sense of isolation at first, but freedom in Taliyah's stance, the name was perfect. The story itself is an amazing piece, which had me thinking overtime regarding her origins and ESPECIALLY with her social standing. It starts out in noxus, but her artwork is obviously shuriman, creating a schism of ideals, on one hand, you have a nation who craves power above all else, and the other hand, is a nation renewed by an ancient ruler, one who's only goal is to revive his kingdom. That alone made me completely involved in the character, and I was literally on the edge of my seat reading this.

You've done an AMAZING job here riot, I just hope that her lore, gameplay, and personality, are consistent throughout, unlike a few of your more recent characters, such as , who's supposed to seem like a morally outstanding individual from his comic and teaser, but has rather mischievous quotes in-game, not to say they're bad, just don't fit with his established background as perfectly as possible, at least in my mind. An example of perfect synergy is with Project: Yi, he fits his role perfectly, a confused individual who's got this duality, his programming, and his humanity, which duel within him. He struggles to find his place in the world. I really hope Taliyah can do the same.

Taliyah's character development is overwhelmingly human, which is something any writer should aspire towards. Her decision-making is top-notch, as is her response towards danger. I'm not going to go too far into this, because I don't want to put up any spoilers, but the ionian she saves has such a staggered reveal, giving hints the entire time, until his identity is fully known. I'd love to see this lore laid out with illustrations, i think it does deserve it.

Keep your story-telling the same, it is a true masterpiece in my eyes right now, and I'd love to see more of these dynamic ties to different cultures in the future.

This is one character I'm very likely to buy based on lore alone.
