I feel like Poppy is the least Yordly of the Yordles. She does not really fit what Vel said of 99% fur and 1% Glee. She does not look gleefull in any of the skins ( Other then Lollypoppy, where she looks high af). She doesn't really look like a Yordle ( Kinda like the old Trist ). Will this change so she can look more like her homies ?
She'll probably look like a more grown up version of Trist, if that makes sense. A more serious demeanour and a bit more mature in terms of her physique, but still very in line with Trist's biology. Aesthetically I'd imagine they'd either put her in to a more Demacian garb, or go half way and make it Bandle/Demacia in terms of style.
So essentially, age trist a bit and give her a sort of more stoic, serious expression. Then slap some armour on. I recon that'll be Poppy.
The only thing that will look weird to me is the ears. They match trist and the yordle personality perfectly. Problem is, Poppy is a Demacian born in a yordle's body. It'll take quite a bit of skill to convey that on the yordle frame, assuming poppy stays largely the same thematically as she is now.
Shes probably will, but even the current Trist doesn't really fit the fur. She has the Yordle ears, thats it. And Poppy probably won't get any glee, she does have a fairly tragic back-story. She doesn't even have a joke for cryin out loud...
Yes.Riot is likely to follow Trist in terms of how Poppy will be visually updated.With the grand modernization of the Yordle design afterall. Personality wise,she likely to stay the same except turned up to 11.So expect a ton of VO lines.
I wonder if they actually change some of poppys colors around. I mean a lot of people(especially new players) tend to mix up Tristana and poppy because they are both blue yordles with white hair and since poppy is getting a big VU,I'd say it'd be ok to change some colors around(for example what if she was blond instead of white haired?Or what if she had actual fur like the blue shopkeeper(who is appearently a female yordle with fur))
I think something inbetween Lulu and new tristana's design?, however at this point i could expect anything.
Pretty sure she will get something close to a full relaunch, the same as Taric And apparently she is going to get all of her abilities reworked apart from her E, which in Riot's opinion defines her
Eh, i've always felt Poppy was in the Corki side of how more human(ish?) yordles looked. I mean if Corki is a yordle its obvious Poppy can be (and is) one too but I feel they really should follow something like Trist's change. They probably will during her relaunch, just gotta keep these threads up so Rito-chan can see them

I would be highly surprised if she didn't, considering how much more concerned with overall faction aesthetic Riot is than it used to be (plus lets be honest, it just looks a lot better). I do hope they keep Poppy relatively bulky and well-muscelled compared to her peers, however - yeah, yordles are small and cuddly, but part of the appeal of Poppy was how she bucked the trends and acted like a living bowling ball.
I hope they don't give Poppy the eyes Tristana has. I much prefer the 'Serious Business Squint' she has. More like Clint Eastwood than Zoey Deschanel.
