Looks disgusting as all hell O.o or at least it looks seriously poisonous and not apetizing at all...
maybe it's the greenish color? since it's HONEY fruti, I feel like an orange-ish color would fit better maybe? I don't know the bulbous look irks me beyond everything x_x

RiotBioluminescence3 votesI dunno (and I don't have the inside secrets either, so I'm just guessing) but it looks a lot like an aggregate fruit to me - in fact, it looks a lot like certain varieties of white raspberry, or even golden raspberry.
Of course, added to that, it does seem to have a certain... glow to it, which as you might imagine by the name, I am in favor of. ;)
I strongly suspect that bluey-green is associated with healing, and it's not too overpowering a contrast in the river, so that's where the color is from. I could be wrong though!
I agree that I was a bit confused they were called honeyfruit, with that color - and if it were up to me, I might suggest the blobs on the fruit be more regularly shaped (like a raspberry).
Hige5 votesyeah it looks like a raspberry... if the raspberry was radioactive ._. I mean I understand that there are green raspberries but this one emits a blue aura and has some goo hanging on the side... and while it could be more regularly shaped, remember that this isn't really a raspberry, this is more of a grape like fruit since when champs hit it, it breaks and can be consumed separately.
I'm guessing that the oval shapes come from each "grape" being particularly squishy since it's filled with a lot of liquid (potions?) as opposed to the "meat" we are used to see in real grapes but the difference in sizes is still a bit off putting.
As far as the color and river contrast, well, I don't think blast cones are particularly merged with the environment and the vision ones have quite the blue glow on them, if anything, I think plants should stand out in order to consider them for da playz.
Lastly, the tone of green used is... odd, you guys are using something close to a color called "spring green" which is the exact halfway point between green and cyan. Blue/cyan isn't particularly an apetizing color (the closest fruit being blue is probably blueberry which is more purple colored than anything, warm colors like red/yellow are important in food/fruits because they excite our taste sense, to put it simply, they make things look not dead...) but of course this is a MAGICAL fruit hence the blue I guess... if you guys would go for something closer to a "lime green" while keeping the blue accents, I think it would look better.

Hige2 votesin game HP is red and healing is green, since it's a healing plant following the rules of summoner's rift visuals is more important than making it increasingly appetizing... that said, there's tons of green tones and all of them follow the rule that green = healing, at least in game.

Hige1 votesDisgusting was probably the wrong adjective, green grapes aren't particularly blue nor a low saturation colored fruit, they also have a pattern of growth instead of having random sizes all over.
I do understand that it is supposed to be a magical fruit though, it just felt like an interesting topic to discuss.
