Is Cho'Gath still being considered for a Visual Update?

I know a couple of years ago, IronStylus (is he even still around?) said something about Chogath being on the top of his Want-To-Update list, and I was super excited to hear that. He just looks so old and awkward and dated, and he could so easily be turned into a massive, intimidating, all-devouring kaiju. I'm honestly looking foward to his eventual VU more than any other champion's.

Is Cho even on a list of champs that need updates? Or are you guys only really working on the bigger VGUs and roster updates, and don't really do regular VU's anymore?

He is definetly on the list for champs that need VUs,but most likely won't be a priority for a long time.

They explained how they mainly do VGUs meaning that unless they want to give cho'Gath a gameplay update, they won't give him a VU.

Also they talked about how they wanted to give cho an evolving model, which would be quite awesome, but is still above the current standard for champion models.

I think that if anything, he's considered for somewhat-of a VGU, but perhaps smaller (or much smaller) than Sion, Poppy or Taric- Although he will need a lot of Visual work, more than Gameplay work, I believe.

Cho'Gath is getting new ability icons in the 6.5 PBE Cycle tho, i can't wait to see them, those could probably hint towards a future VGU for him

They are working on Taric and Yorick as of now, as well as the mage update for 6 of the immobile mages. Then the have that hextech crafting mumbo jumbo....

I can't really speak for Rhino Reese's Rito Riot, but looking at things now; he may not be getting a full on visual for a while, but I am sure he is on the list.

He got a texture update a while back and a few champions got new skill icons so he may get a little love.

He will get a visual update when they fix his Q.

Thing is, Cho'Gath may be old and noodle-arm-y, but his kit is mostly passable and the texture update he got for the new rift did a lot for him, so we'll be waiting a looooooong time probably.
