His hair band is golden-yellow and he actually does have a cut in his collar. I know when developing him back in 2013 they probably had no plans for Taliyah at the time, but it's really cool how there's reasons for him looking like that now. Also does this mean that Yasuo didn't always have his hair in a Ponytail?
6FlagsFunnelCake15 votesYea, Taliyah mentions Yasuo's "Messy and tangled" hair when she first sees him. And at the end, she mentions the giving of the wool yarn as Yasuo uses it to tie his hair. And yea, It's pretty cute how Yasuo's hair (which seems pretty iconic for his character) now has a reason for being like that, simply because of companionship with Taliyah.

It's more likely that he had abandoned the practice for some time while on the run, to avoid being recognized so quickly.
