I was surprised a bit with how identical your thread and this question are. :P

And both are very recent. No significant time difference. People think similar, don't we?

simply put, they are older characters of when the game has its aestethic ripped out of the earliest days of world of warcraft.

Remember that LoL comes out of DotA. which in turn was a mod of warcraft 3 and as such used its game assets, so stuff like dwarves, elves and trolls heavily influenced LoL. Meglings(rip) and Yordles were based on gnomes too, only that they managed to be developed as something else early enough.

This is also why trundle is the only referenced troll in the game, both in old and in new lore, with really few other exemplars being present in other lore pieces. It's something they got rid off the quickest way possible.

"... which in turn was a mod of warcraft 3 "

i know my shit, i said world of warcraft because that's the latest title of the franchise and also the most known one, especially at the time of LoL release. sadly, i add, but so it goes.

Morgana has elven ears too.

Killaburn1 votes

i hope that they could fix that in her vgu because as of now all the elven races are gods like zil and jana

Janna doesn't seem to me like a god, more a spirit.

Killaburn1 votes

sorry i forgot to indicate the spirit also like god/spirirts buton the otherhand, some spirits are gods too and in pilt/zaun janna is seen as a god/spirit. :D

Zilean is not God. It's theorized that he just uses the Time World Rune. But there is def no evidence that he is in fact God

Killaburn1 votes

i think its because they're both gods/spirits lol.

Zilean has a really cool outfit now that I think about. I might try to wear something like that irl, only in black.

The reason used to be that people who had an affinity for magic had elven ears. Don't know if that survived the many retcons over the years though.
