Because Vayne's a horrible person.
Horrible.
Debatable, considering we are talking about a character whom knows what Vayne's goals are and elected to train her despite the circumstances.
Because Vayne's a horrible person.
Horrible.
"Here are the test results:
You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: "A horrible person." We weren't even testing for that."
she truly is.I still can't believe that she killed the one person that helps her...

She dedicated her entire life to it. If given the oppurtunity, she will most likely go after both Luxanna and Shyvanna if they were to be revealed for who they are.
And this is why i dont like Vayne anymore i used to like her now i cant stand her...
Just playing Teemo's Advocate here, but she likely felt betrayed. Not to mention that Vayne isn't all that stable after her traumatic experience in seeing her parents killed.
But yeah, it sucks that Frey had to die. ;_;
But hey, it means her character was written well for us to miss her like this, even if it was brief, even if her purpose in the story was to show just how far Vayne would go to sate her desire for vengeance.

Honestly, I don't see it as her feeling betrayed. Remember, she was trying to fight her feelings towards Frey to begin with. The moment she revealed herself helped Vayne solidify battle to remain unattached.
Vayne does not fight because it's a hobby. She does not do it for no other reason than one thing, and it's not even vengeance anymore. It's because it's her livelihood. The thing about vengeance is that you get engrossed in it. It corrupts you. It engulfs you. You become your vengeance. Often times, you become the monster you try to defeat.
(Spoiler Alert)
If you ever seen Afro Samurai, you'll know that Afro is on a road to revenge. His father wore a headband that read #1. The world's second greatest fighter had #2. #2 killed Afro's father while the kid was only 5. The man then gave Afro the #2 headband and told him to "Let your hate flow through you." During his journey, he killed the man who had a son that was also 5. Afro gave the child the #2 headband and told the kid the exact same thing.
The story went full circle. Vayne is still smart. She is still calculating. She calculates all actions in the heat of the fight. She goes for flashy because she wants to see them suffer as much as she did. She's in love with it, engrossed by it, enamored of it. To the point that--to those she slays--she is like a demon, looking down upon her kill. Her lips now forming a lustful grin.
Wow, when you put it this way it makes so much sense. +1

Vayne becoming psychopath now. She killed by unreasoning.
