@Riot, Isn't Whole Point Of LoL Having A Story To Explain How Champion's Interact In Game?

If the game doesn't represent the story...what's the point in having a story that just vaguely explains champion concepts?

While playing the game, there isn't much of a reason for champions to fight one another on a battlefield located pretty far away from most champions...(assuming the map of Runeterra hasn't been retconned.)

If the story doesn't reflect gameplay, then how do the champion's within those stories reflect gameplay...by some half-assed explanation that the champion's in the game aren't actually the champion's in the lore and the battles aren't actually happening in Runeterra?

If that is the case,** I wanna hear if from a Rioter**, assuming there is one that has the guts to give us a definitive answer about this...which in all fairness, I kinda doubt. They like to keep us in the dark when it comes to lore...because we usually just get disappointing news when it comes to lore.

Its the same as fighting game franchises.

While these games usually have some justification for the fighters to fight each other, its rarely enough to justify any combination of fighters to fight each other(for example why would 2 fighters that are friends fight with each other?)and to justify them fighting over and over again.

Also I doubt a rioter will respond, mainly because they simply explained already that justifying the game through the lore would simply lead to restrictions to the lore(like how would anyone still think that GP is dead if we see him fighting in the game with a new arm over and over again?)

To be fair, I don't think there is a single fighting game in existence that after several years, decided to retcon out it's appealing reason for it's characters to fight each other and provide little or nothing to replace it.

I'm not talking about the retconned lore not making sense because it isn't finished, I'm talking about the game not making sense anymore because the lore no longer supports what happens within it...How was this a design choice that Riot decided to make?
