Rek'Sai is the first speechless champion.

Thank you Riot, for finally creating a true monster. Something that doesn't need words and can bring true fear to enemies with chittering taunts. I can't wait to sit in a bush and press "T" (Taunt hotkey) when an enemy comes too close.

Yeah! I love using that taunt after a successful gank bot. Then ulting immediately to top lane to do it again. You're so welcome Yazkin! We really enjoyed making this "True Beast" and hope players will enjoy experiencing her. Having Rek'Sai now allows us to explore and rethink what a champion is and how they can express their personalities.

You keep circling around the point that there's absolutely nothing female about this "female". A lot of people I've played with have even referred to her as a he and when I correct them they've even said "I'm still calling it a he, there's nothing female about it". And for this being the first female void born, it kind of matters. As for you, I dont know what your problem is you really just came out of no where in a combative manner bashing legitimate concerns of mine. I dont know if this is because you think I'm bashing the champ, I'm not. I love it, its unique, fun to play and looks cool as well as having pretty nifty voice over. However, its simply disappointing that something that was a big deal to some of us for quite a while was a simple gender change that only went as far as the word he/she. I've tried having a discussion here but it's clear that you're just one of those people who will blindly defend something because "thats the way it was made thats the way it should be". Anyway, I'm done trying to reason with a stump, my bad.

You could kinda count Gnar. He doesn't really speak English, or whatever language. It's ancient... Yordlish(?)

People are mixing "speech" and "communication"

Most animals, even primal ones, are capable of communicating to each other.

But when we talk about speech, it's usually consistent words and phrases, instead of purely intonation, such as an aggressive grunt.

Gnar doesn't speak english, but does speak a dead language with words that have consistent meaning.
