Weak Passives

OK, so y'all probably get asked about champion updates all the time from fans of those champions, so I apologize in advance. Recently, my favorite mage, Lissandra, received a major update to their passive taking from an "ability" that you dont really think much about or play around a whole lot due to the lack of interactivity it has, to one of the most fun passives in the game, that also helps drive home the theme of Ice Cold Bitch/cc machine. I was wondering if there were any plans to give this same treatment to other champions who have weak or un-interactive passives that don't really do much for the champion or help drive home the them of their kit/lore. The biggest case for me would be Wukong. As a Wukong main and fan, I very rarely find that the 6 MR and Armor per nearby enemy champion provides any true value to him and I hardly every think about the fact that it even exists. In fact, most people can pick up Wukong and NEVER read his passive, and not be punished for the lack of knowledge. I would love to seen an update to his passive that really helps drive home his ambitious attitude and magical extending staff, even if its something as simple as he gains 10 range on all of his abilities for every enemy takedown he has, or perhaps it drives home the ambition he has a bit more where he gains 2 ad per kill and 1 ad per assist. These are obviously just ideas and I doubt they would ever make it into the game like this as they would likely be EXTREMELY strong with those numbers, however it gives an idea of what I mean for a simple overhaul. If you were thinking more of a major overhaul, like Lissandra received, then perhaps you go with something more along the lines of upon reaching 6 takedowns, and for every 3 takedowns after that, Wukong's W - Decoy and R - Cyclone, gain 2 seconds duration and upon reaching 10 takedowns Wukong's W - Nimbus Strike, grants True Invisibility and his R - Cyclone can knock enemies up twice per cast instead of just once. Some other champions that suffer from this are Morgana, Blitzcrank, and to a lesser extent, Nidalee.

Thanks and God bless. Sincerely, Hyperbölic

Xerath His passive is 100% useless expect early laning phase. Especially if you consider his immense range, which mean he wont be getting anywhere near enemy champions to even get that extra mp. Twitch Some pitiful dot that doesnt really do quite anything. You can say that he uses it along with his e, but its more like getting "marks" on someone rather any meaningful damage from the passive itself. Shyvana Not much here either. Yeah, you deal some more damage to dragons and might get some ar/mr, but nothing to brag about. Just a passive you can live without even knowing what it does.

Renekton /RekSai

Their passives are simply a description of how Fury works with their kits.

I agree that not every champion needs a complicated passive, but I also agree that champions with passives like Wukong should be changed to something else.

Wukong, specifically, is likely to get a VGU at some point, so I wouldn't expect any passive changes outside of that.

Not every champion needs a passive like Jhin. A simplistic passive that just helps them out in certain situations usually has another part of a kit making up for it, like Fizz's E or Xerath's range.

TwistedFate While getting a little extra gold is nice, it's an invisible benefit while playing. I'd be interested to see the idea kept, but made more active. Perhaps he can mark a person like Kindred, and if that champion is his next kill he gains bonus gold (significantly more than his current passive), else it goes on cooldown and that person can't be marked again for a short while.
